Curious about the state of things

Hey all. So as per the title, how is stuff lately? I'm getting ready to retire next month and I've been looking at doing some things I enjoy. I was toying with the idea of putting my Unreal coop server back up and maybe dicking with UT again some. Is anything still going on, do you guys still get together? It'd be nice to chat some and catch up. I'd like to know if there's still life in the dev community at all.

Hey Kelly. Yeah we still play UT. Me and the gang get on TeamSpeak3 Thursday evenings @ 8:30pm PST and play some DM. Usually talk about current events while we gib each other. Good to see ya still kicking. Hope to cya soon.

Hey all. So as per the title, how is stuff lately?

Howdy... I'm coming randomly for examining "new comers". Disposable e-mails and IP-s with bad reputation as spammers and all sort of lousy habits...
As for servers... I'm receiving messages from time to time about whatever upgrades done by services. If these are doing some corruptions and servers are more sensitive, strange reactions are not really unexpected. Some year(/s) ago everything worked pretty nice. Now it seems that not everything works according to the plan.
Certain ACE version went useless for a newer OS, players already understood the "exploit" and things are getting "entertaining" at each 3-6 months...

Either way... I managed to install a sort of "MS-DOS" and now I can enjoy some old games - those which used to have Shadows for Pawns in 1993-1995 not like UT in 1999...

It really never ends Nels. Server admin is thankless hard work that no one notices as long as it all goes correctly. Is ACE keeping up at all?
