Unknown player wearing {HOF} tag

Greetings mighty HOF admins, it has been reported to me that yesterday may 26th, a player "tanya" was on evil's sniper server for 3 games, the first game from switzerland, last two from the states; on the last game the player changed his/her name to " tanya_{HoF}. i searched the List of HoF Members by Diego_{HoF} , and i couldn't find him/her, so i thought this should be reported. peace!

I don't recall a member named Tanya. Maybe Diego can help here.

I dont remember a member from Switzeland or a player named tanya, i simply don't know since i dont play sniper and stay 24/7 there like evil...

Could there be another HoF group out there? Might be a different acronym.

Don't suppose that guy up top who crossed paths with Tanya stopped to ask...

we haven't took any action about this to date, if i encounter this player, i'll be sure to ask all the questions before doing anything. also the majority of clans place the tag before the player's name, so if by chance it's another HoF group, it seems oddly similar.

In the early days, a lot of players merely added a server's "call letters" to their name when they liked and played at a certain server.
This may have been an innocent newbie?
Or
Maybe this player thought it would be "nice" to join in what the other players had tacked on to their name.
Obviously, since it took a while for this player to alter his/her name with the HOF letters, it was a thought that crossed their mind later after playing 2 maps.

Just a few thoughts - these things happen.
Maybe next time (if) inform them of the HOF clan and what the HOF tag is for.

possibility exists it's just someone spoofing "belonging to your clan" for fun, with their tag.
(logins from two different countries, that's either ip spoofing, or a traveller) either way, interesting tale.
