There is not a big deal pathing map, it's almost a real life logic based on movement physics. I studied maps with that BotyMan which I did time ago, heading me almost like I was a Bot - I could learn here more that from tutorials after all. When XC_GE has unlocked jumpy routes I could see what's going on with Bot - ramps included. The rest of strategy means making navigable paths using a BASE Master Rule - not very written - make sure the point where Bot will step/swim is reachable and pawn can take a breath in that point else there are chances to not have connections to that point breaking network - different said forget nodes placed in air manually moved, that's not a good practice - visibility described in tutorials is not that helpful as expected - it's movement between nodes without colliding walls not visibility.
Summary from tutorials toward creating more or less heavy, demanded connections:
- using combos LE LC LE -> LiftExit LiftCenter LiftExit;
- in restricted/small zones using temporary water-zone and returning it to normal after pathing (advantage zoning map) - warning here, see what is getting connected in area;
- using community Nodes type Teleporter - brute-force action;
- using assets a la 2018/2019 XC_EditorAdds.
Useful add-on - MapGarbage disconnecting bad routes on demand, when Editor does evil connections.
When weather will get colder here and won't be a nice time for walking outside I might drop an eye in Editor, maybe I'll get some idea for a MH map or mixing something or whatever...
