Hello all. I am a long time fan of UT99 and just getting back into it. I have really been enjoying the sniper server. Thanks for setting that up. Question: Most of the maps/mods download quickly, but every so often, a map downloads really slowly. I expect the game server itself is sending it when this happens as opposed to offlaoding to another site. When this happens, I just drop off and come back later which is a bummer. My question is, where can I go to simply download and install the maps instead of caching them?

Hello Mukaiman. Welcome to hof forums. I agree it would be easier to just download the maps but I feel most of these are from caching by Evil himself. That being said I think Evil might have missed uploading some of these maps and files to the fast redirect. If you can recall the map that isn't fast redirecting could you report it here

Hey, welcome to the forum!
Sometimes if a download seems slow, you can cancel that and just reconnect to the server to see if it go any faster.
