Any PUBG/Fortnite players?

I've been kicking around an idea for a UT gametype. Yrex sent me this last night:


I might work on this over the winter months as a total gametype project. LMS is already there, I just need to build the PUBG game around it.

Just wanted to update things. I've been sick for a bit and that's why I've not been posting much. I'm better and I've still been working on this project most every day. I'll get back to posting source code and stuff in the next couple of days. Here's a small update video

Again, unless you've played PUBG this won't mean a whole lot yet. It takes playing to really understand the concepts. Once I'm done with this you absolutely won't need to know how to play beforehand. It will all be intuitive make sense.

Looking really good Kelly. I still been thinking about how the AI would gravitate to the center to avoid that kill-zone. I do recall a monster in MH and I think it is the warlord that if his health gets low he would avoid being in range/view for you too kill him. Maybe something there could help.

I spent all yesterday and today working on the HUD and scoreboard to correctly flavor them. Damn I always have trouble with canvas and getting it right. Took me about 3 solid hours to strip UTCompass down so it could be used but I'm pretty happy with it all. Starting tomorrow I'm going to work on compelling the bots to move towards the zone center. I'm still not at all sure how to do it but I'll figure something out.

Maybe Removing path nodes when the barrier bypass them or adding some kind of trigger/objective the bots can be attract to it, just saying :P

Pathnodes and playerstarts are two things you can't delete once the map has started. If it were only that easy lol :)
