Anybody have a clue what this is about? He keeps going on about someone named "Evil" and as I am EvilGrins I'd like to know if I did something to cause this.

My notes: Usually when people are not happy about what you say at a random moment, they are getting used to say that they "don't understand your english" while they can understand it well, but simulating miss-understanding. It's a "language barrier" happily used as reason masking their own lack of knowledge with regard to subject in discussion. I have to admit that some languages have various phrases format and the english used must be somehow more friendly toward these languages - this is not a must be... but let me see, I understood sentences from all sort of YouTube comments even if words were wrong written. I believe this "language barrier" it's a cheap excuse for dodging from a dialogue, a sort of anti-social habit with diplomatic coverage.

Just ignore that rant. Seems Debli has been setting up his own server which is duplicating the Evil sniper server for his own entertainment.


Bottom line is there will always be others trying to ride your coat tales. I put a lot of time into Evil's sniper server and it has shown.


I've actually taken a break from working on the sniper server because I know soon I will have to use crappy methods to start keeping others from copying the hard work I have put into the server. This has has actually put me at a stand still for further developing anything lately.


Honestly kinda discouraged continuing dev of anything. Tired of having to deal will copycats and jealous server admins that can't come up with there own shit.

If any of you know debil as well as I do , this is him being nice ... he is sometimes a pain in the ass (lol) but he just wants to play just like the rest of us and he is a hof member ! He shouldn't be getting banned for misunderstandings because his english sucks ! He means well ( may have a bit of an attitude) but trust me I have known him since 2009 and back then he was really good and hated losing and everyone misunderstood him mostly because of his english but I have always been his friend ...he said sorry ... he just wants to play , I know this has nothing to do with me but I am his friend and figured I would just shed a little light maybe ?? I enjoy playing with him on the sniper server and now hes banned ... AND hes a HoF member !

You see ? These are results in UT'99 after years.
To be honest if you do have any plans with mods from various servers, it would be advisable to NOT TALK about your plans as #1 measure, and next - #2 contact coder doing stuff over there (or admin) and try to gain help for your own assets. Whoever did mods has some knowledge what is about. If nobody is answering apply #1 in silent mode.
A clan member banned with unspecified reasons ? Tell me what's next ? Banning everyone ? Stealing mods in UT it's almost usual - codes written by Epic are not stripped or encrypted just because this system is sharing based, if you want your work only for yourself you should think at a minimal protection or else sooner or later mods are spread around.
For me a private mod if has a private purpose, it should screw things in other machine which is not owner's one, just saying. Codes stripped or replaced, something needed as tracker, if tracker server-side doesn't exist mod will ruin server where it's running... there are various private things doable but this is not the deal done by EPIC.
